Welcome from our Executive Headteacher

Mr Richard Reeve

I am delighted to welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in Moseley School and Sixth Form.

The school has a rich history that all pupils, staff and parents are very proud of.  We are embedded within our local community which plays a full roll in the life of the school.

Our purpose of “Succeeding Together” runs through all that we do.  I believe that education has a dual purpose.  Firstly, it opens minds and broadens horizons, being a mechanism where all people can learn aspects about their world that they did not perceive existed.  Secondly, education opens doors for young people to fulfil their rich potential.  Succeeding together, they learn the value of collaboration and friendship as they grow from entering the school at age 11 to where many leave at 18.

This purpose is driven by our RAISE values:

• Resilience

• Ambition

• Independence

• Supportiveness

• Effective communicators

Multiple generations of families have attended and excelled at Moseley School and Sixth Form.  If you are interested in learning more about our excellent school, please do contact me.  I look forward to sharing our history and promising future with you.

Welcome from our Head of School.

Mr Simon Edwards

Welcome to Moseley School and Sixth Form.

Our school is a friendly, multicultural and diverse secondary school in Birmingham.  We are very proud of our school’s heritage and history where our school has been at the heart of the local community in Moseley since 1923. Many of our students have left school to become hugely successful adults in a wide range of fields from academia to sporting success.

Our students have always been at the centre of everything we do. We want all our students to become successful, confident and caring adults, able to play an active part in a society where our RAISE values have become increasingly important.

The academic and diverse curriculum that sits at the heart of our school is rich and varied. This is complimented by our wide ranging programme of enrichment activities which offer many opportunities for personal development beyond the classroom.
