Helpful Questions to Guide Your Concern
- What happened that you’re worried about?
(Try to describe the situation as clearly as you can.) - When and where did this happen?
(If you’re not sure of the exact time, just give your best estimate.) - Who was involved?
(Only include names if you feel comfortable. You can also describe roles, like “a student in my class.” or make reference to specific year groups) - How is this affecting you or others?
(For example: making someone feel unsafe, upsetting behaviour, something unusual you’ve noticed.) - Has this happened before?
(If yes, how often or when?) - Is there anything you think school staff should do or be aware of?
- Do you want an adult in school to follow up with you?
(You will need to add your name for this to happen)
